| Mile | |
| @4.6 | Go down and left, past Gas Station, McDonalds, and stop light. Cross bridge. |
| @12.0 | Right turn, JCT 103 in Chester. Leaving Chester, go straight to stay on 11. |
| @27.1 | Join 100. |
| @27.5 | Leave 100. |
| @28.0 | Right on Landgrove after Landgrove Inn. |
| @30.6 | Cross Ridge Road, right to stay on Landgrove road. |
| ---- | |
| @28.7 | Reily road goes right. This will get you to the same place |
| @29.7 | Ridge road (gravel) goes right near bottom of hill just before a little creek. Turn right on Ridge road. |
| ---- | |
| @3?.? | Go over bridge and north on Landgrove. |
Stay left, don't go on Cody, but the road changes name to Weston somewhere in here. Since there are several ways you could get here, let's reset the odometer and call the intersection of Landgrove, Ridge, and Weston roads mile zero (@0.0).
| @0.6 | On Landgrove/Weston. Hapgood Pond road on left (don't take). Old Country road on right (don't take) |
| @1.2 | Left on Little Michigan Road, just after another Landgrove Inn. It's a bit down hill with a little house on the corner. Weston bends right (don't take). |
| @1.6 | Right on Danby/Mt Tabor road, also called FS 10. There is a big house on the far right side of the corner. |
[ If you are coming on interstate 91: Follow your map to Weston. Take I-91 to Exit 6, then west on 103 to Chester, west on 11 to Londonderry, north on 100 to Weston. ]
In Weston, next to the park, is a sign with three names on it, Landgrove, Hapgood Pond, and Lawrence Hill. Go on this road, (you can only go in one direction), for 2 tenths of a mile then take a left onto Lawrence Hill Rd.
[ I think I remember this as a confusing intersection, because the road coming down from the right has a different name and the road you turn on to is not well marked. Actually, you bear left on Landgrove or Weston. Lawrence Hill is the road to the right. ]
After 4.1 miles on this road, take a right onto Little Michigan Rd.
Then after 4 tenths of a mile, take another right onto Mt. Tabor Rd also called F.S. 10. Follow this road exactly 4.4 miles and on the left is a hiking trail. Follow this trail 1/4 of a mile until you see stonewalls. You are home.
In WESTON, VT (on rt 100 north of Londonderry) In Weston, follow
sign at park toward Lawrence Hill. (2 tenths of a mile)
go left
onto LAWRENCE HILL RD, (4.1 miles to) LITTLE MICHIGAN RD. (4/10mile)

Site Approach from DANBY
VT Via Rt 7 Right (east) at lumber yard onto BROOKLYN RD/FS 10
