Is there any interest in having a Council on the Memorial Day weekend to discuss the annual gathering and NERF'S possible participation and/or the idea of Involvement in a possible upcoming regional. We have been apart for too long. It's a long journey to Colorado. We need to know if the nerf kitchen will be there to support us should we find the means and the way to go.A couple of us are thinking about a campout at branch Pond in southern Vermont. On the coming Memorial Day weekend. We are wondering if anyone else is interested in that also. Otherwise, when will we have a Council? When Will we find our way back together? We need to honor spirits who have gone over the rainbow bridge, for one thing. Dang it! Can other folks join us to help revive our local family!
This is kind of a heart song but I'm not the only one thinking this way.. I don't know if I can make it to Colorado but I yearn to but I am practical and can see roadblocks.
I would like to see us counsel and figure out a way to have or participate in a regional gathering. We Are hoping for response. We want to know if anyone wants to go to branch Pond this coming weekend for a weekend Council and get together.If not then when?

I know its slightly off the usual schedule... but I want to put it out there for anyone inspired to sit in council...Quebec Gathering is having its rainbow in the first half of August. What if NERF gathering was the last half of July? Then anyone feeling adventurous on either side of the border could visit both, and have a chance to visit rainbow in another country! Just my tuppence.

Hello all, with gas prices where they are and projected to continue to rise throughout the summer, L. and I have discussed mostly hunkering down at the homestead this summer. I’d love to see y’all but for us it will have to be a "maybe" for now.

Thanks for sharing information about a Virginia family regional. That may not be too far out of reach for NERF participation.
I might like to go there. I would also support a Northeast regional when the air and apples are crisp in the early fall. A few probably do but most don't have kids starting school at that time of the year. That used to be the main reason we didn't have gatherings in September or October, a time of splendid New England/New York weather
As for the upcoming weekend, Memorial Day camp out, there does not seem to be much enthusiasm. A couple of folks who did respond said, "maybe." Or, "perhaps toward the end of the weekend"
I paraphrase.. Not having enough notice is a good reason for people not to go. And, people do make other plans. I don't think, after two years, I'm even ready to go camping. Any counsel on the land would also depend on the Nerf kitchen. I have not heard anything from Vito. The kitchen is stored on his bus.
I've been to proposed councils before where only a couple of folks showed and it's a bummer. I guess all I can hope for is for someone's to propose a place and time attractive to a few people at least , not just two or three. Of course, if it's over, it's over. I don't see anything happening this weekend.
