The purpose of the New England Regional Spring Council is to figure out if our family wants to meet up AFTER nationals this year. We will be discussing the IF, WHEN, & WHERE of the New England Regional Rainbow Gathering of the Rainbow Family of Living Light.
Healing and World Peace are, as always, our focus. Please note that this is not a holding camp for the national/annual gathering. Locals use this area frequently during the summer especially on Memorial Day weekend.
We will begin with a feast on Friday and continue to council through Saturday. Breakdown will be on Sunday. During these days of council, we hope to lay the foundation for a gathering which nurtures our spirits collectively and individually. Bring your hearts, minds and bodies and all the gear and tools we'll need to camp for three days.
Bring food to share for the feast and through the weekend. As of right now there is one established council Kitchen for this council. Please be prepared to be self-sufficient! As always with Family, it is likely a communal kitchen that MAY organically happen.
This will be an OUTDOOR council in late May in the North East. It will still be COLD at night. Be prepared for cold weather, rain, definitely mud, and even a rebellious snowflake. Bring extra clothes, blankets, and methods needed to stay warm and dry. Camping spots are available on the site. Those not wishing to camp should consider other local accommodations. Please bring all the water you will need for your own personal use.
Please be aware of fire safety! As of right now the forest in the area are dry. You can monitor the fire warnings here: https://fpr.vermont.gov/forest/wildland-fire/monitoring-fire-danger.
Please follow the “Leave no trace” practice and remember to pack out what you pack in. To limit the spread of invasive tree-killing pests, please obtain your firewood at or near your campsite.
We Love you!
